Silver Penciled Wyandottes
Silver Penciled, One the rarest varieties of wyandottes, and one of our favorites!
We have been working diligently with this variety, and we are finally comfortable offering chicks. Much work has gone into essentially saving this color variety. We started with very small, poorly typed birds. Thankfully our founding stock had great silver base color which allowed us to cross with our Partridge line birds. This helped improve their shape, size and bone structure drastically. We look forward to continuing to work with this variety.

Please note that quality wyandottes take longer to mature, but are well worth the wait! It's typical for hens to start producing between 7-10 months of age. Wyandotte's shape and feather pattern are not fully developed until approximately 18 months. Our birds in the photos average between 12-24 months.

Spring/Summer litter 2025
A little information about the parents! Our goal is to provide families with healthy, well socialized companions. Parents have had health testing to rule out common issues the breed is prone to.
Mila is our three year old brindle. She is 100% American. She has a sweet soul and loves children! She is the ideal family dog and we absolutely adore her. While Mila is a bit more of a reserved girl around new people, she does the boxer butt wiggle when she warms up! She might even bring you her favorite toy. Mila has a normal cardiac reading via holter monitor and echocardiogram. She is clear for degenerative myelopathy. Mila has had an evaluation with a cardiologist with a normal auscultation.
Brownie is our three year old flashy fawn. She is 100% American. Brownie is a lover! She is happy to meet everyone and is extremely affectionate. She loves a good snuggle and loves to give (everyone!) kisses. Brownie is clear for degenerative myelopathy and has a normal cardiac reading via holter monitor and echocardiogram. Brownie has had an evaluation with a cardiologist and she has a normal auscultation.
River is our brindle male. He is 100% European. He is your typical happy go lucky boxer! He loves everyone that he meets and he has been a wonderful addition to our boxer family. He is a big goofball and we love that about him! River is clear for degenerative myelopathy. River is clear of cardiac issues through parentage, further health testing will be completed once he reaches the appropriate age.
