Silver Penciled Wyandottes
Silver Penciled, One the rarest varieties of wyandottes, and one of our favorites!
We have been working diligently with this variety, and we are finally comfortable offering chicks. Much work has gone into essentially saving this color variety. We started with very small, poorly typed birds. Thankfully our founding stock had great silver base color which allowed us to cross with our Partridge line birds. This helped improve their shape, size and bone structure drastically. We look forward to continuing to work with this variety.

Please note that quality wyandottes take longer to mature, but are well worth the wait! It's typical for hens to start producing between 7-10 months of age. Wyandotte's shape and feather pattern are not fully developed until approximately 18 months. Our birds in the photos average between 12-24 months.

A little information about the parents! Our goal is to provide families with healthy, well socialized companions. Parents have had health testing to rule out common issues the breed is prone to.
Mila and Brownie are officially retired! The girls will remain in our home, as they are part of our family and not just a breeding program.
Vanja (Van-yuh) is Brownie's daughter. She is a beautiful fawn with an extremely sweet personality, just like her mama! Vanja loves to play with the other dogs and really enjoys learning new tricks! Health testing and photos to come.
Nova is our brindle female. Nova has always been a very calm and sweet natured girl. If she's not outside playing with a ball or romping around with her housemates, you can find her sleeping the day away on the couch. Health testing and photos to come.
River is our brindle male. He is 100% European. He is your typical happy go lucky boxer! He loves everyone that he meets and he has been a wonderful addition to our boxer family. He is a big goofball and we love that about him! River is clear for degenerative myelopathy. River is OFA certified for an advanced cardiac evaluation which includes auscultation, holter and echocardiogram. Stud service is available to approved AKC females. Minimum health testing must include DM and holter.
